Will it work just like Halo 2 with it being super hard to rank up or like Halo 3 where its easy to rank up until you get a whole lot of EXP then it super hard to rank up or somewhere in the middle. Will a player have to get over 7 kill like in the old Halo 2 Matchmaking to not get -points? Will there be a way to restart your rank once you get the highest rank in whatever playlist that its in or will you have to get a 50 in every playlist to restart at Rank 1.
Will it always match me up with people close to my skill rank? Will there be a ban system for those that quit the game? Will there be a kick system if the player isn’t moving with in the first 2min in the game? Will a player that quits or gets kick from the game will they loose all the exp points they earn for that game? Will I be able to see my rank and other peoples rank when I match up with them for that playlist before we play the game?

Video Games Halo collection’s matchmaking fix due Wednesday The player-matchup issues in the new Halo: The Master Chief Collection have been partially resolved on the back end, but the developer promises an update to fully patch the problem. The Master Chief Collection, the suite of individual Halo titles for the Xbox One, has suffered a matchmaking bug that makes it difficult to find players for multiplayer games. After the collection’s launch last Tuesday, Microsoft blamed the problem in part on the lack of available users due to the game’s gradual rollout across regions.
But at this point, it’s clear that specific bugs have also played in a role. Halo developer Industries updated players about the situation on Saturday.

ODST features a new multiplayer mode called Firefight. It’s kinda like the Horde mode from Gears of War 2. For some reason though, it doesn’t support matchmaking. When I spoke with Bungie producer Curtis Creamer last week, I asked him why they don’t support matchmaking in Firefight. He explained how it comes down to a technical issue.
Firefight is based on the cooperative campaign mode from Halo 3. It uses that as a base technology with all the same gameplay mechanics, including AI. Matchmaking was simply not part of that Halo 3 campaign. Creamer says the idea behind Firefight is not to play with a bunch of strangers online, but to enjoy a more intimate experience that harks back to the early days of Halo.
Firefight is really all about getting together with your friends online and playing that way. Personally I wouldn’t want to play those co-op games with strangers, preferring instead to schedule sessions with people I know.
